Founder CEO IntellectEU Dirk is founder and CEO of IntellectEU NV, a Belgian “Fintegration” and BlockChain company with subsidiaries in different countries. IntellectEU has built a strong reputation in Financial Integration Services based on SWIFT, Founding Member of Linux Foundation's Hyperledger, Ethereum, DLT solutions such as CORDA, Banking APIs, Cash Management... IntellectEU has offices in New York, Brussels, Kiev, Lisbon and Mexico-city. Recently, IntellectEU has strengthened its position by receiving 2 million Euro funding from Michel Akkermans (ex- Clear2Pay). Dirk and co-founder Hanna Zubko remain the majority shareholders.
Dirk has a Masters degree in Science and Engineering, a postgraduate degree in Business Management and an MBA. He was researcher at IMEC, held different positions in IBM and commercial director B2B for Belgacom. He is the founder of IntellectEU NV with subsidiaries IntellectEU Inc, IntellectEU Unipessoal LLC and IntellectTechnologies LLC, together with co-founder Hanna Zubko, who was nominated Global FemTech Leader. He has been regular speaker at international conferences such as AFP, Sibos, InterConnect and many others. Dirk speaks Dutch, French, English, some German and Russian.
